Obituary for Adneris Alicea
Adneris Alicea was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 28.She was a warrior. She endured countless cancer treatments and surgeries until she was officially declared Cancer Free.
As a psychologist, her mission in life became to serve those who have been diagnosed with Cancer. She served as a beacon of hope for those around her.
At the age of 30, her cancer resurfaced and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer. She quickly began her radiation therapy along with various other treatments and she never gave up.
On 12/15/2017 at 11:00am, her battle with Cancer has ended. Adneris Alicea, 31, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Adneris was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on October 4th, 1986, to Gregorio Alicea and Minerva Andino.
Adneris was employed at Brightside for Family and Children as a clinician and most recently at Mercy Hospital. She was also a member of the Restoration Worship Center were she attended weekly and was an inspiration to her extended church family.
Adneris was full of life and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Adneris left behind her precious memories,her parents, 2 Sisters; Darcy and Leticia Rivera, her aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends. Visitation hours will be on Friday December 22, 2017 from 6pm-8pm and Saturday December 23,2017 from 9am-10am at Centro Cristiano Nacion de Jesus (CCNJ) 124 Sumner Ave. Springfield, Ma 01108, followed by a burial at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
